goign overseas
couldn't blog yesterday, cuz some silly person decided to block all cookies =p
well, MONDAY: met MF for really good yong tau foo at smith street, then went to meet roy at IMM... ... ... ... then, went to Plaza Singapura's secret recipe with mentoring group (cosy-er group this time, with lionel, john, clem and GR).
TUESDAY: went with MF, was a cold outing (in 2 ways, becuz it was raining, and becuz... ... ... ... why the dots? cuz some things are too painful to share). had "ah chew" desert", went to katong, ya... went out all the way from 10am to 9pm. spent eating and taking long bus rides. soun way to spend your last day before NS, eh? =p
well, i won't be blogging for a REALLY LONG TIME. going overseas. to tekong. see ya all.
gray areas and hypocrites
SATURDAY: supposed to have 1986 reunion dinner. turned out to be a mentoring dinner =p with leonard, clem, guang rong, david and john. anywayz, we had a good chat, ate good chinese restaurant food (nothing refreshing or new, but it was super ex. had really good mango pudding =D). then, walked down to settlers NC. played "cartagena" and "apples to apples". then, i worked there from 11pm till 2am. the sink nearly died on us. for a moment, we were washing dishes in pails =p like, how terrible was that? fortunately, fizah had a fren, who she corresponded with so that we could fix the sink (the tap handle came loose, partially my fault =p). and, erm, that night, i lost my wallet. don't know how, prob while i was walking from tanjong pagar to the cafe. lost my I/C, EZ link card, $150 of my pay... fizah and evonne freaked out for me. i was a little too calm about it. but, like, what could i do about it? just remake the I/C and all that lor. no point worrying so much.
SUNDAY: went to church. then, had LAN with mark, ben, eugene and guang rong. then, rushed to bishan. we were supposed to go to the treetop walk, with Darren, marcus, MF and myself. in the end, cuz of the rain, and cuz of... stuff, Darren, Brian and myself went walking around Junction 8, and watched "Miss congeiality 2". good clean meeting. almost. after that, erm, went to settlers HV to work, till 10.30pm.
MONDAY: was kinda sad. like, i just lost my EZ link card, $150, I/C, com was about to crash, and it rained at bishan where i met MF at 10am, we had to walk around drenched, the "chocolat N Spice" shop we wanted to visit was closed, the "yam beancurd" place we wanted to visit closed down for good... how many things could go wrong? but, yeah, went to bishan, then BV, then JE, then Lavender... eventually got everything settled =) then went ot beach road, bought army supplies, had "the best grass jelly in singapore". which is true.
then, went to settlers HV for STAFF NIGHT. supposed to be overnight. is 12am considered overnight? =p heheh. played "valley of the mammoths" (included the painful process of reading the rules meticulously, and boring 3 gals in the process). didn't get to play the games i wanted to, but nvm.
TUESDAY: went to outram, 10am... to be continued...
